Overwatch is teaming up with Solo Leveling for a new crossover event launching on October 6, 2026. The collaboration will bring five anime-inspired skins to Blizzard’s hero shooter, including several costumes based on some of Solo Leveling’s most recognizable characters.
The highlight of the crossover is Genji’s Sung Jin-Woo skin, which gives the cybernetic ninja the look of the anime’s main protagonist. Reaper will also receive a new outfit inspired by Igris, one of Jin-Woo’s most iconic Shadow Soldiers. Reinhardt, Anran and Lifeweaver are also getting special skins as part of the event.
The Solo Leveling crossover will arrive alongside a larger Overwatch update. Blizzard is also preparing to introduce Doctrine, a new support hero who will join the game’s growing roster.
Anime collaborations have become an increasingly important part of Overwatch’s live-service content, and Solo Leveling will not be the last major crossover. Blizzard has already confirmed plans for a future collaboration with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, although that event is currently expected to arrive sometime in 2027.
For Solo Leveling fans, the event offers another chance to see familiar characters reimagined inside a major multiplayer game. For Overwatch players, it adds another set of distinctive cosmetics to collect when the crossover goes live on October 6.
